Today we share sad news. After saving hundreds of pets and housing many more, Refugio Abuelo has had to close due to a lack of funding.

We thank you for your support and still believe in the fight for animal welfare. 

The funds raised will help towards the debt outlying for vets and other partners. Once again we appreciate all our supporters have done and hope you keep up the good fight.

Thank you for your donations so far.

With your support, we've started the expansion of our cat enclosure and continued our ongoing care of the shelter's 50+ animals.
